ITINERARY IN BRIEF

Day 1: Arrive in Glasgow. Visit Stirling Castle en route to Fort William.

Day 2: Travel to the remote fishing village of Applecross and explore the rugged coastline on foot.

Day 3: Mountain bike to Skye! Spend your night in the heart of the Cuillin Mountains - breathtaking.

Day 4: Hike in the Cuillins, some of the highest mountains in Scotland and the British Isles.

Day 5: Spend another day hiking, or visit Dunvegan Castle and grounds.

Day 6: Swap your feet for a kayak to paddle up the Sound of Raasay - you will spend your night in a bothy next to the beach!

Day 7: Improve your kayaking skills further as you return to Skye. Explore and relax in colourful Portree.

Day 8: Replenish your energy with a guided tour and whiskey tasting session at the Talisker Distillery.

Day 9: Ride the famous 'Jacobite' steam train - you may have seen this in the Harry Potter films!

Day 10: Try horse riding overlooking Loch Ness, or walk instead - a flexible itinerary lets you choose.

Day 11: Move to the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. Soak up the history and reflect on your experiences as you visit Edinburgh Castle and enjoy Edinburgh's night life.

Day 12: Transfer to the airport for your return flight.

A minibus will transfer you between destinations when you're not using your feet, a kayak, a horse, a bike or a steam train!

EATING AND SLEEPING

Hearty Scottish breakfasts await you as you wake up in a mixture of accomodation ranging from guest houses to wish bones (traditional wooden tents). We will often be eating at well renounded establishments so you can make the most of all that yummy seafood and haggis!
