ITINERARIES IN BRIEF

Sea kayaking adventure

Day 1: Arrive in Belize City and transfer to Placencia. Familiarise yourself with your sea kayak and play with the kayak sails!

Day 2: Awake to a traditional Belizean breakfast and hit the water! Head to the uninhabited Saddle Caye. Camping on the beach, swimming in the Caribbean sea, what could be better?

Day 3: Paddle through mangroves and shallow reefs - a great opportunity to spot wildlife! Fish for your supper or explore other Cayes nearby.

Day 4: Head to Round Caye and the barrier reef and snorkel around the '100 fathom line.'

Day 5: Head to the largest Caye on the expedition where you can have a well-deserved fresh water shower. The reef around this Caye is amazing so snorkelling is a must!

Day 6: Your last full day's paddle takes you to a choice of three uninhabited islands for your final beach camp. Enjoy your last evening listening to the waves breaking on the reef.

Day 7: Catch the boat back to the mainland and shop for your presents! Head North to the capital and spend your final night in the Jungle Dome.

Day 8: Head back to Belize City for your flight home. If there is time you could visit the museums, cathedral or even the casino!

Multi-activity adventure

Day 1: Arrive in Belize City and head to Belize Zoo - internationally recognised for its animal rehabilitation and conservation projects. Continue to San Ignacio.

Day 2: Awake to a traditional Belizean breakfast and head to the Caracol Mayan ruins. Explore this little-visited site and the surrounding jungle trails.

Day 3: Roaring Creek and the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave system await! Hike, wade, swim and scramble your way to the cave entrance and stunning archeological relics and mummified skeletons.

Day 4: Take the Hummingbird Highway South stopping for some cave tubing, and then on the the Silk Cayes on the barrier reef.

Day 5: Familiarise yourself with the sea kayaks and play with the kayak sails! Paddle to Little Water Caye for snorkelling, swimming, fishing and camping on the beach!

Day 6: Head to Round Caye on the '100 fathom line' for snorkelling and exploring Pompion Caye.

Day 7: Catch the boat back to the mainland and head to the capital for your last night in the Jungle Dome.

Day 8: Return to Belize City for your flight home. If there is time there are some interesting museums, a cathedral or even a casino to visit!
