“Joshua has worked on productions in over 30 countries, and has worked closely with dozens of fixers and local producers on every step of these shoots. Our entire crew agreed that our Moroccan Episode was the most successful and smooth-running shoot, both in terms of logistics and creative content. Our Episode focused on living with a traditional Berber family, and gaining total access into their daily life, and the life of their village. Every step of the way, Rob Murray-John and his team were extremely professional, accommodating, and committed to our program. They were able to secure a great family, and get our team complete access to a Moroccan village that was as authentic and traditional as we could hope for. Rob also helped plan out a schedule and activities that helped us tell our story effectively and efficiently, and also gave us access to various locations and scenes that were visually stunning.
Once in the field, Rob and his team handled all of our production needs with poise, efficiency, and dependability. I felt secure every step of the way that our team was well attended to, and our schedule and shooting demands were taken seriously, and achieved. His staff were excellent in laying all the groundwork for a smooth shoot, and he worked seamlessly with local villagers to provide a great production set up, and a great experience, from the meals to location scouting, to the access our team was provided. In addition, his team of Doctors, Drivers, Security and assistants were among the most likeable and enjoyable persons I’ve had the opportunity to work with.
In sum, I would jump at the opportunity to work with Rob again. They will be the first persons I call when I’m producing my next international shoot. It is fair to say Rob and his team were among the best, if not the best Local Producing team that I have worked with.”
